GASS OLYMPICS

A well known local plant hire company (who you may remember have to be referred to in code in case their financiers find out the truth

about the M.D and decide to call in their loans, hence the M.D being called HEW EDILOODALOOOO and the company being called DIGGERWORLD).

Anyway, DIGGERWORLD decided to celebrate the Olympics with an 2000 person event for business clients at their World Headquarters

and Hew kept the organisation and layout for the event set up for another two days to allow GASS to enjoy the same privileges.

This was a fun sports event, following Olympic traditions, but using machines instead of humans.

The events included:-

25m HURDLES - SHOOTING - CHARIOT RACING - DANCING DIGGERS - AQUATICS  -  and even stuff for kiddies.

A great time was had by all - as witnessed below............

Many thanks to Hew and his excellent staff!  Could not fault the whole evenings entertainment from start to finish.

AND ON THE PODIUM

Bearing in mind that this was one of our only 'friends & family' events in years - and the main target was to bring 5 guests minimum each

then the GASS equivalent of the Men's 100 Meters was "How many did you bring?"

And the LEGACY?

We took in £3050, paid out £3000, so made £50!

Fortunately this did leave the whole of the fees for August as additional profit - so we cleared £850, and had a laugh.
